It's absolutely ridiculous. I know. But I can explain any one of these.
One thing I would like to address off the bat is that I view branching relationships as fairly commonplace in the Pokémon world; a place where people regularly travel, join up, and split apart for their own ends. Bonds are aplenty, and overlapping ones are accepted more readily.
A relationship might not mean lifeplanning together, or much beyond "we have strong chemistry and like spending time together." Intensity and life arrangements vary. There's no one core at the center of this.
Ash has the most because he's my shipping bike and the main character. This is NOT, by any stretch, a harem thing. I hope the map makes it clear that everyone here has their own lives & priorities.
I've also made my stance on human x Pokémon relationships very clear on this blog. They're on the up-and-up, and coequal partnerships.
