mac‏‏‎ ‎farya‏‏‎ ‎and‏‏‎ ‎shelley‏‏‎ ‎are‏‏‎ ‎officially on the list <3 under one tag because i thought it would be easier that way and because i was soooo proud of myself coming up with a tag that covered all three of them. it's support protocol because. respectively they're tech support, medical support, literal support. now i need to figure out how they'd end up in a polycule in the first place

I DON'T MIND AT ALL infodumping is literally my favorite activity i am a professional yapperrrrr

so for starters i do project onto the mc of the game a bit but they're always doing stuff i wouldn't do (just for starters getting a degree in customer service) so while i do imagine myself wearing the dateviators‏‏‎ ‎some of the time‏‏‎ ‎i also have an objectsona to interact with other objects in the house. they are puzzles...

while i am crushing on a significant number of characters my main ship is a poly between‏‏‎ ‎mac‏‏‎ ‎shelley‏‏‎ ‎and‏‏‎ ‎farya‏‏‎ ‎aka‏‏‎ ‎my top three (though not to play favorites but if i had to pick just one. Doctor I Could Really Use Some TLC)...this kind of counts as a crackship since they've never interacted but since there are shelves in the office i like to think‏‏‎ ‎mac‏‏‎ ‎and‏‏‎ ‎shelley‏‏‎ ‎at least Know each other.

their‏‏‎ ‎dynamic‏‏‎ ‎with‏‏‎ ‎mac is a friends to lovers kind of thing--i think mac‏‏‎ ‎is less forward with them than they are with the player and they originally bond over a love of logic and Knowing Answers To Things. though tbh mac‏‏‎ ‎is the one character of the three i could imagine shipping with a human oc since the relationship between a person and their computer is already kind of inherently romantic. or maybe i'm continuing to not beat the objectum allegations.

shelley‏‏‎ ‎was someone they'd admired for a long time (probably they were stored on her) but it took them a long time to actually get up the nerve to talk to her. once they did they were shocked at how (endearingly) awkward and dorky she actually was, but she appreciated having someone to talk to who wasn't driven away by her personality (i feel really sad that she doesn't seem to have any real friends...) and also um oh god they are both so familiar with the scaries.

and faryaaaaaaa waaaaahhhhhhhh i imagine they meet through some random combination of factors (maybe the player gets sick and spends all day in bed doing puzzles and farya is there with medicines or wtv) and it is pretty much love at first sight. or love at first words because as soon as she opens her mouth they are smitten. but then one of them gets put away and it becomes (as yet unnamed) de s/i's quest to find her again so they can finally get to know her for real. once they do meet i imagine they follow her storyline in the game (helping her study for her med school exam) and end up dating after she passes it. i imagine the order they start dating in (from first to most recent) goes shelley‏‏‎ ‎-> farya‏‏‎ ‎->‏‏‎ ‎mac and those three probably start dating each other at some point afterwards. i need a reason to use the ship name webmd.

🐉 - what's the coolest thing they've ever done? she did so very well on her med school entrance exam <3 most impressive student...she gets there with the mc's help sure but she is still so very smart and talented! everyone should be so so impressed with her

📖 - do you think your f/o would like reading? what kind of stuff would they read? her reading preferences definitely skew nonfiction far more than most of my list but she can be tempted to read the occasional fiction. mostly stories of someone surviving against near-impossible odds like the‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‎martian or whalefall (really good but really fucked up book it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time). her nonfiction tastes are mostly medical journals and anecdotes about weird scientific discoveries. she also likes reading about poisons but it's okay. don't worry about that.
