1)Talk about the first ship you ever had.

I've literally shipped percabeth since before i knew what shipping was. I'm a really... oblivious person (stealing the personality from Adrien Agreste since the day i was born), so I actually just read their relationship as platonic my first time reading pjo. Imagine shocked 11 year old me when they actually got together at the end lol. I know this is like, controversial, but i started shipping them with fanart and fanfics, later i read hoo and i fell absolutly in love with them, wich is funny bc when i reread the saga last year i fell in love HARD with them, and i feel like the fandom really doesn't get them (there's a really big problem with mischaracterization in the pjo fandom lol), and also i just don't really consider hoo... cannon anymore. but yeah, my otp is also the first ship i have ever had, so obiously they hold a really big place in my heart.

8)Have you ever shipped yourself with a character?

OMG THIS IS EMBARRASING. I didn't, but i did have the biggest crush in percy jackson when i was younger, he's still a comfort character now and i love him with all my heart but not enough to think of himself like that outside of you know, percabeth. I used to say that he was my first love WICH WAS SO CRINGE, but did have some kind of truth bc he WAS the first character i felt really close to. but no i don't think i did actually shipped myself with him (also y/n and self inserts never where my cup of tea lol)

I think also leo valdez ?, but the same as percy, i was obsessed with him but,,, not really (still a comfort character tho)

26. Have you noticed a pattern in your shipping? Is there a romantic dynamic you’re more drawn to?

Oh man, yes. Most of my ships are M/F, in part because I’m attracted to the flipped dynamic -- women having the upper hand, but being less sentimental than their male partner.  Mulder and Scully, John and Aeryn, Bruce and Nat.  All these couples have women who have a skill set equal to their romantic interest, and often one that would fall into a more traditional male role in storytelling (thankfully that’s changing). Scully is a doctor and a pathologist, Aeryn is a soldier, Nat’s a soldier and spy. They’re women of action and reason and all of their partners are very good in their own field, but are big saps full of feels.

All of my ships feature an equal balance of power, with the possibility at any minute for the whole thing to implode. I like ships where the other person wants to be the best version of themselves in the other person’s eyes, but is also accepted for their flaws.

I like competency. I like reserve (Scully, Aeryn, and Natasha share a lot of things in common. They hold themselves still. They hold their emotions close.)  Their partners respect their strengths. Are buoyed by their strengths (not in support of the partner, but as these women act in their worlds.) They’d all be literally lost without the strengths these women bring, and as result, most of the time, work to be worth the effort.

And they all fail, both parts.

And, I like that they are all ships where sacrificing something for the greater good is integral. (Even if sometimes I think that sacrifice is hella dumb. I’m looking at you X-Files.)

31. Talk about one of your favorite headcanons for a ship you love.  My favorite silly head cannon for Bruce/Nat is that she’d rather eat his toast than her own, literally and metaphorically.  It’s such a tiny domestic share, a little bit of casual teasing affection that I love.  Sharing food is an intimacy, and I think for characters that are unlikely to demonstrate public affection for myriad reasons (control, reserve, vulnerability), it’s a tiny, almost unnoticeable thing to do in public.  Eating the strawberries out of his fruit cup, while having a conversation with someone else.  That sounds dirty.

12. Have you ever been disappointed when your ship finally got together?Yeah, Castle and Beckett on Castle. Ugghhhh I shipped them so hard, and then when they got together they had zero chemistry and watching them kiss seemed super awkward. and then like a year or more after the show ended I found out that Nathan Fillion basically turned into a dick, and him and Stana basically hated each other at that point (supposedly they couldn’t be near each other unless they were in a scene together and even then had trouble putting their irl feelings for each other aside).

14. How do you feel about will they/won’t they?I generally really like it, unless it’s getting obvious that the writers are trying TOO hard to keep two characters apart- like sometimes it can get really contrived and it seems like the writers are just throwing in obstacles for the sake of keeping two characters from getting together. And sometimes it just goes on too long and gets frustrating in a bad way. But if it’s done well, I like it.

1. Talk about the first ship you ever had.

If we’re not counting things like Disney movies, the Princess Bride etc where it’s basically a forgone conclusion the couple will get together… probably Revanasi. *cough* I loved Carth from the word go and shipped him with my f!Revan right out the gate, before I figured out you could actually romance him. There’s just so much you can do with their dynamic and characters and the angst potential and hurt/comfort AUGH I LOVE IT (I actually have a Revanasi fic on my ffn account that was my first ever multi chapter one and I wish more than anything I could finish it, but those muses have been shut up for a looooong time, lol)

22. Which of your ships have the best chemistry?

If I can count my own characters, Harv/Trinne or Taviloth. :3 I love my babies. Other media, I gotta say Perc’ahlia(Critical Role) for the excellent, amazing, infuriating slow burn and Yoyomack(Agents of SHIELD) for the banter

22. Which of your ships have the best chemistry?

The first thing to pop into my mind was Phryne and Jack from Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Because those two have some epic UST. 

But I think overall I’m going to say John and Aeryn from Farscape because there’s so much between them and it was all acted so well. And even to this day Ben Browder and Claudia Black have great chemistry. 

31. Talk about one of your favorite headcanons for a ship you love.

What’s fanon and what’s canon? Do we even know anymore? I sure don’t.

Most of my hard and fast headcanons are related to ships having happy endings so.... “they leave happily ever after” is my fave headcanon 99% of the time. :P
