Miraculous Fandom and Shipping 09/03/2025
This data is accurate as of 8th/9th March 2025 and has been done over two days due to the length of time it takes to create and frequent AO3 errors over the past 48 hours. Errors aside, it is likely will continue doing this in future as sleep before 2am sounds great actually.
Last month adding Sublime to the roster meant having to redo a big chunk of the formula that form the spreadsheet due to multiple breakages. Upside is this led to them being further refined and less chances of errors. Also added a specific row for a freeze pane to make inputting data easier.
At the time of typing XY's tags are still pretty broken and any Sublime variants are very hit and miss whether they pick up correctly. The latter was expected and will likely improve with time.
In general the numbers have been very erratic. There's been lots of single losses which generally tracks with deletions/removals and also far bigger ones? While one instance can be put down to a possible keyboard slip as the numbers were next to one another, others not so much and it is unknown what caused them. There has been a big jump in Sabrina/Zoé which looking at the page can be put down to Femslash February doing their bit. Otherwise gains have been minor bar expected increases in the 'big' ships.
Also discovered another weird tag instance where "Centi Couffaine" went to a tag for Sentibug? Mean one way to discover they have their own tag.
Every relationship tag is assumed to have been applied correctly.
The key for the first part of the spreadsheet is as follows:
Y (Green) - At least 20 entries
P (Yellow) - Less than 20 entries
N (Red) - Zero entries
The colours are primarily designed for quick glance usage.
The key for the second part of the spreadsheet is as follows:
Green has 0 entries and is checked monthly
Blue has 1-10 entries
Light yellow has 11-14 entries
Saturated yellow has 15-20 entries and is checked monthly
Light grey has 21-50 entries
Medium grey has 51-100 entries
Black has more than 100 entries
Black entries have the data input at the time of the spreadsheet update and are hidden purely so they are checked manually and auto pilot brain does not do it more often than required.
As of 8th/9th March 2025, these were all the pairings that have more than 1K works under their tags:
Adrien/Marienette - 38652 Alya/Nino - 7808 Luka/Marinette - 4349 Marc/Nathaniel - 2405 Juleka/Rose - 2375 Adrien/Luka - 1340 Adrien/Kagami - 1296 Kagami/Marinette - 1083
Marc/Nathaniel has overtaken Juleka/Rose from the last round up.
Honourable mention to the next closest to the 1k mark/over 900:
Ivan/Mylène - 967
After this there is one ship at 851, another at 776 and 712, then it drops to 525, 514, 492 and 473 respectively. From this point the rest are much closer to 300 or less. In a random fun tidbit, Kim/Marinette had exactly 300 entries when this data was compiled.
