So, I suck.
I haven’t been on here in forever. I have been SO busy with school, work, boyfriend, family... it’s been crazy.
BUT with TDC coming this JANUARY I decided I needed to get back to my fandom.
And freak out over all the TDC things.

with the new trailer dropping TONIGHT.

Who starts most fights?
They both do because honestly Newt is too annoyed by Thomas’ curiosity and how he won’t stop asking questions Newt can’t answer or because Thomas keeps trying to get them bloody killed. And Thomas starts a fight when he feels like Newts not really on his side, when he’s not willing to fight against WCKD with Thomas. Or, you know, when Newt is taking too much of the sleeping bag.
Who surrenders at the end of most fights?
Thomas is way too determined and stubborn to lose a fight and Newt knows there is no stopping Thomas so he gives up before any feelings get hurt too bad.
Who is more likely to cry during a fight?
Thomas cries easily, and Newt bottles up his feelings. He feels a need after being the second in command for so long to look strong and put other’s needs before his owns. When Newt cries during their fights, Thomas knows he’s gone too far.
Who is more likely to storm out during a fight?
Probably Thomas tbh he’s such a drama queen.
Who is louder in fights?
There both pretty loud. Newt’s louder when Thomas has done something stupid and dangerous and he thinks Thomas could have die.
Who is more likely to throw things in fights?
When the flare starts showing symptoms Newt gets physical, nasty, aggressive. He isn’t above throwing. It’s not like he can help it the disease just makes him so angry.
Who is more likely to bring up past mistakes?
Neither tbh they’ve both done some pretty nasty things that they new they couldn’t really help and they wouldn’t want to make the other relive those memories.
Who is more likely to give the silent treatment?
Newt goes days without talking to Thomas after their first argument. The gladers eventually have to step in because it effects Thomas so much that he starts neglecting his health and they are all worried about their boys.
Who is more likely to blame the other?
Newt but only when he’s getting past the Gone.
Who is more likely to blame themselves?
Thomas blames himself because them all there there, maybe if he did something different then maybe he coulda saved Newt.
Who gets jealous more easily?
Newt is insecure about his worth in the relationship. He think that he deserves Thomas. He thinks Thomas can get someone who won’t cling to him as much, who won’t selfishly want all of Thomas time, or is as broken as Newt. So, when he sees Thomas laughing and talking with the other Gladers he can’t help the jealous that springs up.

Who is more likely to break off the relationship?
When they’re in the maze, they both think about breaking off the relationship multiple times: there’s too much going on to build a healthy relationship. But even with everything going on they would rather suffer through all the fights and harsh words just to savor the happy moments it brought into their crappy lives.
Who is more likely to threaten to leave?
Thomas is more likely to threaten to leave in the heat of the moment but he never really means it. Newt knows he doesn’t ever really mean but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt, or leave him wondering if he should leave Thomas for real.
Who is more likely to actually leave?
Newt because he dies first???????? lmfao
Who is more likely to forget the other first?
Newt would haunt Thomas through the rest of his life. Thomas would see him in everything he did. Living without Newt would brake him. But, Newt would hide all of Thomas away until he couldn’t remember the feel of Thomas on his lips, or his name even. He would move on, slowly, until he couldn’t just like he did after watching all his friends die because Newt’s a survivor.
