Interesting tidbit on Cold Fires:

It is customary that the mother and father sit at both ends of the table (the heads?) during family dinners.

Look how Mom and Dad sit at the ends and Tuvok brought his weird, furry friend, who’s not so secretly in love with Kes, and Kes brought her new boyfrind to dinner. Kes’ new boyfriend is a jackass, though, and Tuvok feels protective towards her.

Mom and Dad are curious and make nice conversation and haven’t quite caught on yet that Kes’ beau is a jackass. They are just so oblivious.

Isn’t it a nice family dinner?

I ship based off of chemistry, and who I think that character would be happiest with.. and occasionaly, very angsty ships pull at my heart strings. It takes very certain ships though. However, if there’s happy times, there’s almost always angst.}}
