--Marco would be lying if he said he didn’t worry about his father’s health on a weekly basis, but right now, the feeling of worry was much clearer due to the update he had heard, the update that made it clear that Oyaji was in no condition to fight or go to war for that matter, but Marco knew nothing could stop this, for they were going to save Ace, but in doing so there was a huge chance of Oyaji.. not making it out alive, it was something the phoenix was still chewing on, still trying to accept, so he wasn’t distracted when the collision finally came, and like his father said, he had kept quiet for this long and so he would continue, Oyaji knew that, for the man before him had known him for so many years, but.. was it wrong that he had imagined many more? It didn’t matter how old he was, Marco still wanted his father – the man who had saved him - to stay by his side, to listen to him, and guide him in those rare times where he really needed it, however, Marco knew that was selfish, which was why he kept those thoughts to himself.

Gazing off towards the ocean, azure hues betrayed the phoenix’s stoic façade as a sight left full lips.“As you wish, Oyaji, yoi..” the words tasted bitter on his tongue, but even then, Marco stood tall, it was his job as the first division commander and as the first son, he was the one who needed to step up and take Oyaji’s place if it ever came to that, but did he feel ready? The real question was; could you ever feel ready for something like this? Marco believed the answer was no, for even though he had known this for years, he still didn’t feel in the least ready.

    ♪ |    Rosa wasn’t one to usually argue with her father figure, after all the young pirate rather naively clung to the hope he would live on forever as the thought of losing him wasn’t one she ever wanted to consider, however, that in no way meant she wasn’t going to be concerned when he acted in such a rebellious manner against the doctors’ and nurses’ instructions, and her lack of scientific knowledge wasn’t going to stop her either.

    ❝That’s not what the nurses said.. They’re supposed to make you better, Pops’ not tire you out..❞ either he wasn’t being particularly honest or they needed new equipment but her concern wasn’t eased in the slightest.

Stefan panted happily as his master pet him carefully, before carefully jumping up to the very large man’s lap, as he made his way to the arm of the chair, where he lay down, head on his paws, watching the crew go about their day. The dog was exhausted from giving a certain purple dragon the slip the whole morning in avoidance of his monthly bath. Master would protect him, surely. Nasty nasty soap.

“Well now, that is a surprise. Never expected to see you here Edward, Mammamamama. And here i thought i would only go for a walk outside of Totland!” He voice sounded almost out of nowhere. Even with her size, she managed to somehow walk without actually making a sound. And this giant mass of a woman, was standing before another emperor, like herself. Whitebeard and Big mom. Two of the four most famous pirats in the new world. Who would have thought that the meeting between them would appear out of random. And she had a very solid reason to be here. She was just taking a walk. It was one of her therapies, so to say. Every now and then, she just randomly sails outside of the kingdom she created, just to sit on some island, small enough so that they will not know her by her looks, or even deserted. Of course the navy was notified and she did not do any harm by appearing there, so both sides just kinda pretended that she did not exist there at the moment. Who would have thought that this will lead into the situation like that? And of course the head of Charlotte family found it rather hilarious.
