A nice bonding moment between uncle and nephew. So I've been thinking for awhile "well, SOMEONE in the family has to go to war, they aren't excluded from the horrors." so I decided it should be Mugman. Of the men in the family, Joe by now is too old and clumsy to fight, but he does help load things to cargo ships and trains, things like that. Cuphead is obviously missing his arm from his fight with the Devil, Kettle's WAY too old to fight ain't no way, and Cinnamon is the Isles' only mystic animal control so he has to stay. So, that leaves Mugman, having to leave his young son, Shire, with his wife since there's nothing he can do to wind his way around it. So, from 5 years old up to being about 9, Shire has Cuphead as a father figure kind of. He knows who his dad is, he remembers him vaguely and wishes he was home. But it's nice to have your uncle try and be there for you when your dad can't. (not that Rooty's not there, she 100% is.) Shire asks Cuphead lots of hard questions. Bg is from the game! (forest follies level) (pls don't let this flop, solely for the art because this took ages)

How'd Tea react when she got her first grandchild? (seeing as she wanted one real bad)

Typical reaction + more excitement because it's Tea and she's extra. Super excited when she first found out. Helped as much as she could. She was kinda there before Mugman got there, and being the stubborn shit she is, she made sure she was in there with Rooty so she wouldn't be alone.

Shire Beera Java

He's about 8-10 here.

Shire's name is supposed to sound Irish shut up (he's actually supposed to be an Irish coffee mug which those are really cool looking imo XD) He gets the green from his grandmother on Rooty's side (obviously not from Tea XD) He's shy and actually selectively mute in many social situations.

Shire's the biggest mama's boy and can be stubborn about it too, such as only doing it if Rooty says (pisses Mugman off but he also doesn't have the heart to discipline sometimes while Rooty does for the most part. Fairly ofc but she does so when needed.) It becomes a problem since as an adult Rooty is a cop and often busy. (she makes time for family though ofc)

He's the older cousin by about a year and despite this he's the one usually following behind his younger cousins fearfully because he's kinda a wuss despite being Rooty's kid. They usually drag him to play in the woods or something else that's very off putting. But the girls also know when enough is enough and they give him a break.

His yo-yo! Something he gets tangled in his fingers when he's bored. Passed from his grandpa, to Cuphead and Mugman (Who certainly fought over it) to him. Shire's more calm so Cuphead said it was probably a safer idea to give it to him rather than the girls.

Anyways, there's some stuffs about Shire, I hope you like him :) there's more angst to come though

Shire's annoying younger cousins. Mint and Honey(suckle) Mint is actually the older twin. Honey just got the tall gene from her grandpa that skipped Cuphead. Mint got dad's/grandma's short gene + Flower's short gene so she's. Tiny. Shire loves his little cousins, but he likes peace too, and will never get it when they're around.

I've posted him before a few times, but Shire. That's their only first kid. Shy, selectively mute, creative, the oldest of his cousins. Here he is doodling in the dirt.
