bonus bonus: 5 April is Shisho appreciation day!
Fic writing prompt from here.
Eons of perceived non-existence led Shisho through a quiet, but exciting life of a casual observer.
Recent days, a humble cafe attracted his attention; mostly, from the sheer diversity of cultures conglomerated within. Of course, there was also an excellent musician, which was always a joy to Shisho's ears. He sat comfortably right on top of the fireplace, watching how the magical sounds of tunes create an escapade for the cafe's patrons, far away from the horrors of war and men. Shisho lingered on until the cafe decided to close. Man's short lives make it all very exciting from their perspective; yet, when seen by a timeless entity, it was so... mundane. Perhaps that was part of the charm? That they can carry on doing mundane tasks, in comfortable groups, while chaos roared all around them? He breathed a sigh. He never did have any answers, considering how no one had ever noticed him. "Hey," a voice said. Oh. What is this? Is the musician hitting on the poor lady again? "No, you, kid, sitting madly atop the fireplace," the musician greeted. "Not a very bright one, are you?" Shisho let his jaws drop slightly. The musician couldn't help but let out a smirk. "I see you."
