Being accused of using it is so deeply offensive given how much time, effort and love goes into making art.

Artists, how do YOU respond to such accusations?

Shit is so tiring and infuriating.

I will never be more than 30 mins late to a kids party ever again - everyone we invited showed up and the party was truly a hit and the kids didn’t want to leave, but they didn’t show up until 3-3:30 (party started at 2).

I took a 1/3 of a Xanax so I wouldn’t be too numb to my own emotions or too tired (Xanax doesn’t make me tired but my mom uses it to sleep so I wasn’t sure how it’d effect me now that I’m sleeping so little). Should’ve taken a half!

I was imagining my baby girls friends not showing up and her being heartbroken. I was pacing when people couldn’t see me and looking out the front door, just holding my breath. Truly internally losing my shit, thinking “this won’t happen to her, it can’t” 🥲

Everyone trickles in at the same time basically and I breathe a sigh of relief because everyone is here. But then I take a deeeep breath because everyone is here and now I am hostess 😂

Got to my Mimi’s @ 12:15. The party really started around 3, people didn’t leave until the mosquitos came out at 7:30, otherwise they would’ve stayed longer because kids didn’t want to go.

(Which was wonderful but also GET OUT, this party “ended” 2.5 hours ago)😬

All the parents were like, “hosting kid parties is exhausting, this is great, good job” and I was like “Thanks! We’re going to Disney next year, I’m not throwing another party until she’s at least 8”

Really enjoying Persona 3 Reload still and getting towards the end, but god I am exhausted with the conservative politics and overt sexualization of the female characters in modern persona. It's one of those things I could write a whole essay on if only I didn't want to deal with death threats from foaming at the mouth fans of a game that I ultimately DO like!
