Not often at all, who is this Pharah you speak of? Sounds like some sort of dessert or something haha.
Okay, yeah I play Pharah a lot, to the point where she’s my top pick for almost anything. At this point I think it’s safe to say she’s my main considering I have 100+ quickplay hours on her, and have a disproportionate amount of time on her in competitive compared to the other heroes I regularly play. I mean, my ultimate goal is to get a golden gun for her by the end of the season if that is at all possible, and considering I’ve been doing waaay more competitive than I have in previous seasons, maybe I can achieve that this go around. You already know how bad we bully the other team when we’re together and you’re Lucio (or any of your other mains), espeically if @warhybris is playing D.va or Symmetra with us. Then it just turns into a slaughterfest.
which maps I like to use them on
I can play her on pretty much any map, like Pharah ultimately does well on open world maps such as Route 66 and Gibraltar where you can get in really interesting positions to take out the enemy team, but of course my favorite maps have to be the ones where you can bop people off to their deaths. Like I said, when I play Pharah, I turn into a bully, and my fave thing to do on maps is get cheap environmental kills ( like these ones here ), and by far the best maps for that are Ilios (aka the death pit) and Li Jiang tower. My goal though is to bop at least one person into traffic on Oasis during quickplay. I did it once on an ulting McCree who was being a jerk to my friend in skirmish, and that was probably one of the most satisfying concussion blasts ever.

Up until like an hour ago I had Security Chief ( x ) equipped, mostly because I really love her scarf (I also lowkey own a scar like that already too lol), but then I changed it to Thunderbird ( x ), only because I like the color palette and wanted to change things up a little. Though my favorite skin for her is the Anubis skin ( x )

So I know almost EVERYONE ships Pharah with Mercy, which on a fundamental level I have nothing wrong with, but like many things, fandom completely ruins it for me. I feel like neither character is allowed to exist outside of their ship, despite each one having their own separate backstories that make them the complex characters that they are. It’s to the point where I’ve actually blacklisted the ship name on my Mercy account (just like I’ve blacklisted anahardt on this account), because that’s almost entirely what the tag consists of. I also have a hard time getting behind a ship where fans sent actual death threats to the writer of the game because of a voiceline. I know I shouldn’t let fandom ruin things for me, buuut it’s gone a little too far at this point imo. Plus a lot of the fanart and fanfiction I see for it has some really gross white savior/master dynamics where Pharah is like the brown accessory, or some subservient partner to Mercy and that doesn’t sit well with me at all. Like obviously I don’t care if other people ship it, literally you do you. I just have my personal preferences, and as I’m sure you’ve noticed, I tend to not like things that are super popular anyways.
Rant aside, I like Pharah x McCree, and Pharah x Symmetra. I’d really love to see more of both ships, and think they have a lot of potential! And honestly I wouldn’t even mind a sort of OT4 with Pharah, Genji, McCree, and Mercy. They could be like the ultimate bro squad with Mercy as the mom friend, but I digress.

character in general: akazome nomura is a national fucking treasure i swear. every interaction between these two shitimis is golden; i love akazomes stilted speech and metaphors jesus christ id kill for her. she’s incredibly detailed, imperfect, tragically awful in the best way and one of the main reasons i wanted to make an oc character because she’s like despondency personified and god im in love. literally with all your ocs you put so much effort into, both rping and planning and they have these intricately simple stories and conversations that make them real, like you can see this girl and you can see who she once was and who she now and the juxtaposition is amazingly done, congratulationshow they play them: perFECTION and i want akazome to Burn More People. your rping style is ***flawlessthe mun: owlie is also a national fucking treasure and i’d also kill for owlie. you are a lovely person and i adore seeing you on my dash
