If I ever win the lottery I am going to rent out Lincoln Financial Field in Philly IN THE SUMMER and Have Twin Peaks , Fidlar, The Orwells, Shannon and The Clams, Tweens, and Shitbox Jimmy each play a minimum 50 minute set and let everyone in for free. Wait, I want Cherry Glazzer there as well. I think the only stipulation would be they all had to play while a hologram Big Pun danced on the stage.

Off! is coming to The First Unitarian in May (the 16th). I am historically excited. Keith Morris is one of those guys who has done a song you love when he was with Black Flag or The Circle Jerks (the later have a pair of Vans shoes for sale exclusively at the SXSW festival and it pisses me off I can't get them online-what is funnier than a fat old guy with Circle Jerk Vans ?) OFF! has a local connection with Dimitri Coats from Burning Brides which should lead to a full show-they were popular here in Philly for a while, being the only 'small' band getting any type of air play, and they did open for A Perfect Circle and the White Stripes. Wow, I was old THEN !
Now, if some Cleveland bands would tour I would get an apartment down that way . I am looking at you Shit Box Jimmy

So , I had to stay , go back and now I am on my way back into work again. My playlist changed drastically last night-when I went back in at 2 in the morning I listed to Twin Peaks Natural Villain about 30 times then listened to Shit Box Jimmy Deliverance . Gotta turn off the record player now and use the iPod.
Unsolicited advice - follow your dream. I mean seriously follow it. Failure is never giving it a fair shot. Fear of failure and low self esteem kept me from a lot, and my advice as an old person is don't be afraid-just try it. The worse thing that could happen is you find out your dream sucks and it isn't for you-that has to be more satisfying than "I wish I would have tried that". See, wish in 1 hand and shoot in the other and see which fills up first .
Don't get me wrong, I am happy-I have an awesome wife who makes it all perfect but in the end disappointment in yourself for not trying will drive you crazy.
