Pocketwatch: If you could be immortal or have an extremely long life span what would you pick and why?

i think i’d want to have an extremely long life span only to travel the world several times over, try all types of food and experience different cultures and religions, to learn facets of every career, to listen to generations of music, to scour museums and love people and live different lives.

You didn’t specify which character, so I’ll just do all the witch OCs!

3: What outfit or style of clothing is your character most often seen wearing?: The best way to describe Bernard’s fashion is book-ish, with a cardigan or sweater. She doesn’t put a lot of thought into her outfits and usually wears faded colors with the occasional splash of something brighter, but never anything loud.

Scarlet goes for a femme, dramatic, and sort of alternative look and puts a lot of effort into her outfits…when she wants to, that is. Otherwise, it’s just her favorite hoodie and some sweatpants. She loves to stand out when she dresses up and prefers croptops and shorts and anything loose-fitting. Has a more tacky taste than she’ll admit.

Hazel wears a lot of “old-fashioned” looking clothing, usually with a dress-shirt and a tie. She switches between wearing courderoy pants to long skirts often and is never seen without a hat.

River has a pretty mainstream sense of fashion, owning lots of nice skirts and dresses with some cute (but never gaudy) accessories. They usually wear a dark top to contrast with their bright hair.

Tyne is usually seen wearing long, flowing clothing, whether it’s a coat, a dress, or a bathrobe. Always pretty old-fashioned. Ey also eternally have crocs on (much to Scarlet’s endless embarrassment), so seeing em wearing any other type of shoe is a rare sight.

4: What would your character wear to a formal gathering such as a dance, a wedding, or a funeral?: Bernard wears a simple, nice dress that she wears for any special event. Scarlet and River both go all-out when dressing up (though of course River’s outfit looks pretty tame compared to what Scarlet chooses). Hazel would probably wear her usual clothing, just a bit more spruced up, while Tyne wears traditional festive witch garb.

5: What kind of transport does your character usually use?: Bernard, Scarlet, and Hazel take public transportation, River goes by bike or car, and Tyne prefers walking.

6: What kind of media would (or does) your character consume? This includes books, tv shows, video games, and movies.: Bernard likes easy-to-follow stories, regardless of genre, but mostly enjoys fantasy. She doesn’t like super-intense, sad stories at all since they put her on edge. 

Scarlet, on the other hand, loves diving into surreal, artsy, and often somber media that ask hard-to-answer questions (she’s edgy like that). She loves characters a lot and will argue endlessly on forums (and with River) about interpretations. 

Hazel enjoys children’s media the best, and there’s nothing she dislikes more than an unhappy ending. River mostly likes mainstream fantasy or sci-fi stuff (I can see them enjoying Bioware games). Tyne likes eir soap-operas and very old novels.

I fell out of the Doctor Who game a long time ago but now I'm curious. What the hell just happened.

just. so much?

like idk how long ago u stopped watching but basically a few episodes ago the current companion clara diedand then the doctor got trapped in this prison thing where he was tortured for information for 4.5 BILLION YEARS

but then he gets out with a vengeance and a determination to bring clara back so he overthrows the timelord president and uses a timelock to grab clara out of time in the moment before she dies

but like - she is still going to die at that moment. thats still going to happen thats a solid stable event so when he grabs her out of time a)shes kinda frozen in the moment right before her final heartbeat so like her heart literally just isnt beating and also b)grabbing her out of this moment endangers the entire universe because of like weird time vortex shit basically clara has to die there or the entire universe will explode or something

so after that basically a ton of other shit happens which ends with the conclusion that the relationship between the doctor and clara is what is prophesied as “the hybrid,” aka powerful destructive force that will stand in the ashes at the end of the universe

ummm so basically after that is revealed the doctor and clara make like a memory loss pact so theyre gonna use a timelord thingy and one of them (coin toss on which) is going to lose their memory of the other because its safer for the universe and for themselves if they arent together  (because at the moment all of the timelords are chasing them down trying to make sure clara dies at that moment shes supposed to)

so the doctor loses his memory of clara (not completely? he still remembers the events around her and like that he had a companion named clara and that he cared for her very much but he just doesnt remember her) and clara grabs a stolen tardis and an immortal human lady and runs off to explore time and space, all in the moment right before her final heartbeat (so shes both kind of immortal because she wont age and cant die except for at that confirmed location and time, but also not immortal at all because her death is there waiting for her whenever she decides to go back to that moment)

and the doctor goes on, not rly remembering clara oswald, for his continued adventures and shit

tldr; clara&the doctor had a love so powerful it was prophesied to stand at the end of time for billions of years & clara is bi and running through time w/ a companion & the doctor doesn’t REALLY remember her but she remembers him completely AND IT SUCKS

idk if thats enough info or too much SO MUCH OTHER SHIT HAPPENED but thats kinda the gist of it mostly some fucked up shit happened but im overall happy with how clara oswald has departed from this show
