Making motivational "it's never too late to transition" posts is really undercut if the age you're highlighting is still young. Claiming that your transition was late and it worked out great for you actually makes older people more afraid to transition if you're saying that shit in your 20s. How do you think a trans person in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s feels when you're 23 and calling yourself a late transitioner?

It's never too late until you're in a coffin. It is worth it for a single day of being yourself, even if you're 110.

im always so annoyed with online reaction to vids where ppl in difficult situations are given a House, no strings attached etc and then after a while they trash the house or whatever. And the comments are always like „this is such ungrateful, behavior, if I ever got a house for free I would keep it pristine” etc etc and it’s so UGHHH it annoys me so much. It’s so . Narrowminded to think that a house will solve the issues that caused that person to be in a housing crisis in the first place. Of course having a stable housing situation helps but it’s not always enough to overcome all other crises a person might be going thru. And it just feels like such a surface level take AND IT IS but when you read the comments it’s just people saying shit like „vids like this one make me never want to help people at all” and it’s just. It’s ragebaiting me

a thing about me is i basically never notice a wig or other kind of hairpiece in tv/movies. it has to be party city territory for me to even twig it. people will complain about characters' wigs looking bad and i will nod along but there is like a 90% chance i did not notice for a second while watching. i consider this mostly a blessing.
