aw nuts i made my christmas cards morbid again. just finished the card to my mother's boyfriend with the line "I actually hope you will live a long and happy life and die in a normal way many years from now." in another card i asked the recipient how many years she thinks she might have left to live, as this corresponds to the number of christmas cards i will be sending her in the future, and suggested the number might be "up to 30". i have i believe 11 cards left to write so please cross your fingers that i can keep a lid on it for the remaining innocents.
