This Big Bang started out in April this year, so it's been going on for a while! We're very proud of our participants and happy that they've finally been able to share the result of their work with you. It's been a weird year for the fandom, but we're very glad that this event still happened!

It’s finally time! Today, our writers and artists start posting their works! This will last until November 28th, and we will reblog everything on this account, so keep an eye out! And remember to leave nice comments or replies on pieces you like!

It’s a time for artists and betas to look through all the fics that are being written and think about which ones they’d like to work with.

The outlines will have tags attached, as well as expected wordcount and rating, and some notes for artists/betas. Take your time going through them, and be mindful of the notes that are related to your role!
We’ll also take this opportunity to remind people that participants under 18 are not allowed to depict NSFW in this event.
After receiving most of the check in response, we have decided to extend the schedule by one week. The new schedule can be found here: https://shlbigbang.carrd.co/#schedule. It is as follow:
- September 18th: fifth check-in, assignment to pinch hitters in necessary cases. You should be about ¾ done with your fic/art. Don’t forget to take into account editing and finishing touches in your planning!
- September 27th, 10am: start of posting date claiming! Lasts one week. Agree with your partners on when and how to post and link your works, contact mods for any last questions and problems you encounter.
- October 3rd, 10pm: end of posting date claiming.
- October 9th: sixth and last check-in. Participants should be almost done.
- October 25th: start of posting! Lasts one week. Link mods to your work when you have posted it, and let them know how you would like to be credited on the final post compiling all works for the Bang.
- October 31st: end of posting!
- November 14th (subject to change): end of posting for people with extensions!
- November 21st (subject to change): last post compiling all works for the Bang!
The last two dates are subject to change depending on the length of people’s extensions.

All the fics have now been claimed by artists. HOWEVER if you're an artist who hasn't claimed yet, we are opening fics up for a second round of claims by artists who have not claimed, or whose claims did not go through! This means that as an artist, if you haven’t claimed yet and are happy working with another artist, you can submit your claims as you would have normally. Claims are still first-come first-serve, so please do submit your claims as soon as you can. And if you are a writer, you might get two artists to work with!
All artists who have yet to claim have been contacted, but if you haven't heard from us and think you should have, or are struggling with your claim, please get in touch.
You should have received a message or email with the link to the gallery and to the claiming form; you can use those!
As soon as all artists have claimed fics, we will get to work on our match-making and finalise everything so that you can all know who you're working with as soon as possible!

It’s almost time - our talented artists and writers are going to start posting on Monday October 25th!!!!
For a variety of reasons, teams ended up with different schedules, and posting will be spread over several weeks - starting this Monday (!) until November 28th. That means a steady stream of new fic and art for the next month for all of us, which is amazing!
We will reblog what artists and writers post on this account each day, so if you keep an eye on this blog you won’t miss anything! But if you do, don’t worry: we’ll compile everyone’s work after the end of the posting period!
