Some redesigns I made of Chansin/Shobushi and his evolutions. I wanted to give them a hanafuda themeing, ever since I learned that Chansin's shoulder armor things are hanafuda cards. Each of them now has their clothing designed based on a hanafuda combo or whatever you call a group of hanafuda cards. As a fun little challenge, try to figure out which combo each one is based on!

Yokai watch oc # 2! Akihiro Iwaki was born during the edo period in japan and has CRIPPLING gambling addiction. It became his downfall when was killed for overdue debts and came back as a Chansin.

Shobushi, whose real name was Kiyotaka Suetake, died from multiple organ failure after a bout of pneumonia, the Japan’s Sumo Association (JSA) announced.
