ok im spending my lunch break learning about locusts and straight up if specific species (around 20 in the world) of short-horned grasshopper experience conditions of heavy vegetation growth after drought, leading to population booms, they become 'gregarious' and will swarm in huge numbers. their appearance and behavior changes and everything. the grasshoppers will go sicko mode and that's what a locust is. i love nature

you just really cannot recreate kingdom hearts without either of its aspects. you can make a serious anime game epic but it just doesn’t hit the same without these copyright-cutthroat ultra rich cartoon animals there invading everything. and you can try to make an exciting disney crossover thing but it just doesn’t hit the same without somebody dying with a sword in their chest. the people can try but cutting out the whimsy and goofiness fails but also trying to make the plot more straightforward and lighthearted fails. the tonal dissonance is the sauce. you just had to be there when they put bugs in him
