i cannot pick a singular section from this fic, but theres multiple stars anyway so ill just talk about a fic as a whole! the fic being until all you see is my ghost. firstly the ph ex-aid parallels are real and i think about them every other day. and also i wrote this fic in a really short time compared to the usual so if that doesnt say something.

while i do think that emu and oz are more similar overall, putting emu in noise's shoes was very interesting to write because of the existence of m/pallado, and like. how things were for emu before pallado got like surgically removed out of him. i think the implications are very interesting! and since we dont see pre-extraction-sugery emu very much, i wanted to explore that bit.

choosing the vincent to emu's noise was a bit difficult tbh, but i ended up with kiriya because i like kiriya a lot and he Is a bit similar to vincent. just slightly. and i do think he fits the role of like, connecting with emu but not Properly properly, which is ideal breeding ground for the twisted obsession that happens in ph with noise and vincent. i feel like in ex-aid too kiriemu are the quickest out of the doctors to like Properly bond. theyve got that going.

another thing i was considering was replacing duldum with pallado proper but i ended up not doing that cuz i feel that pallado's too much the m personality that it would feel weird for him to also be duldum, the one creating the split personality in the host. so pallado is echo proper in this fic.

so yeah! ive got a sequel to the fic in the works because man the thoughts never stop. also i gotta write more glen-hiiro because thats a whole other interesting can of orms. We Will See. thank you for the ask!
