65. "It's almost like you want to always be my slave" Namsoon teased, calling out to Heungsoo from the living room. "Do you like being below me all the time, slave?" He chuckled whilst aking the drink from his hands and looking up to Heungsoo's blushing face. Namsoon paused in confusion, before a huge smirk grew on his face. "Aahhh" he said, and Heungsoo gulped. He'd been caught.
64. When Nam Soon was running a high fever, Heung Soo did a delivery for him and got into an accident. Heung Soo was rushed to the hospital even though he had minor scratches. Just as he was leaving, Nam Soon deliriously runs into the emergency room with a concerned Jung In Jae chasing after him. After inspecting his friend closely and freaking out about the cut on his arm, Nam Soon falls into a dead faint. They end up staying the night at the hospital.
63. Being tall brought attention, which is why Heungsoo hated being tall. He tells Namsoon this, as they eat the ramen Heungsoo made ("a price you pay when you're my slave" Namsoon tells him). Namsoon simply reaches his long arm out to ruffle his hair and smiles " but isn't that how we became friends?"
62. Nam Soon easily quit smoking. He lost interest in everything after the incident. Although he quit a lot of things, the two things he kept returning to were school and Heung Soo.
61. Watching Ha Kyung and Kang Joo fight, Heung Soo realizes exactly how similar Ha Kyung and Nam Soon were--scared of being hated and confused on how to apologize. So when he gives Ha Kyung a small push in the right direction, those were actually the words he wanted to tell Nam Soon three years ago.
60. Nam Soon has a habit of talking to himself, usually self assertions. "I'm okay. I'm okay." And Heung Soo makes sure Nam Soon doesn't lie to himself. "No you're not."
59. Heungsoo began to see Namsoon everywhere after the accident. Namsoon was the young man hurrying to work, the lone figure huddled in the alleyway at night, the shopkeeper who always suspected Heungsoo of being a thief.
58.You'd think that Heungsoo and Namsoon would be sick of ramen by now. Being the only thing they ate together for years. But the result of ramen has always made up for it.
57. Even after they graduated, Heung Soo follows Nam Soon to his work every pay day to make sure the other's not getting ripped off, but after some time, Heung Soo realized Nam Soon just liked the extra time they got to spend together. "Did you honestly think I never learned how to add?"
56. Namsoon didn’t think he would ever get used to this feeling. The brilliant feeling of delirious happiness, the feeling that his heart was going to explode from so much joy, the feeling of finally being whole again. Namsoon swears it feels so good that his heart is going to fucking break, but he doesn’t care because he is kissing him, roughly grabbing him, softly sucking his neck, making him his.
55. The reappearance of dread is quite shocking to Namsoon, and this is all he thinks of as he takes in Heungsoo's hair, the side of his face, his clenched jaw and restless hands. He never thought he'd dread seeing Heungsoo, because he never counted on seeing Heungsoo - fate was just never that good to him.
54. The day Namsoon's foot connected with Heungso's knee in that precise angle marked the end. Seconds passed, or maybe hours, days even. One second Namsoon was watching the wide eyes filled with the pain of disbelief, and the next he was staring blankly at the suffocating wall in his desolate house, thoughts of nothing but Heungsoo.
53. It took a while before they noticed, but a lanky teenaged boy - sometimes smeared in blood, sometimes not - roaming the hospital is hard to miss. The nurses found a pattern to his wandering; he circled but never entered the same ward, where one Park Heungsoo had been admitted around the same time as the boy had started appearing. They never questioned why the boy didn't visit someone who was obviously his friend, and eventually everyone knew not to disturb the sad boy keeping careful vigil over his friend with a broken leg.
52. After wearing the shoes Namsoon gave him (they were a bit too small for him) all day long, Heungsoo’s feet felt numb. Namsoon insisted Heungsoo to go back to his home after school, then prepared warm water for Heungsoo to soak his feet in. And while Heungsoo had his feet soaked comfortably, Namsoon was watching him like a happy puppy knowing that he could do something to relieve Heungsoo’s pain. He only decided to go when Heungsoo snapped at him and told him to cook some ramyun for them.
51. Heungsoo dreads a new message from Namsoon in anticipation. Knowing it was probably something mouth-watering, like Namsoon pouting while wearing nothing but Heungsoo's own shirt (that graze his milky thighs) is almost enough to sneak away from shopping with his Noona.
50. Once he got used to it, Heungsoo found that being Class President really suited Namsoon. Namsoon had always been a leader, someone people wanted to follow.
