With time there’s a strange sense of security that comes along the more he explores the new world. It’s not as if he’s suddenly adapting to it but he found that, like anywhere else, one can make a home pretty much everywhere as long as they can keep their rituals. And perhaps that’s why he’s taking it in a stride. Sure, he may not be able to play croquet anymore or throw the boisterous tea parties, even if he swears to himself he’ll find a way to get his hands on a flamingo, a hedgehog and a dormouse by the end of the month. Still he can at least ensure the majority of the rules are still followed.
One of said rules he intends to keep is the coffee free living. He has yet to directly discuss it with his new roommates, even if it won’t be a discussion as he will get his way, but part of the process starts with having replacements available. The severe lack of tea at the place astounded Riddle, clearly he had to help these people if the only available beverages were coffee and water. How could people live in such conditions was beyond him.
Thus he found himself outside once more on a quest, only this time for a tea place. He had already found a pretty decent bakery where he can buy tarts whenever he needs to, the thought of him making him frown slightly as it reminds him of the absence of Trey. He wonders when will be the next time he’ll see his friend again or if that is even possible. There’s still so little he knows about his situation and it frustrates him greatly.
With a small shake of the head, Riddle tries to clear his thoughts. There’s no use concerning himself with these matters for now. He’s on a mission to buy tea, he must stay focused. However in his naivety he had wondered a little too off his original route. He could have sworn he was going in the right direction but alas, he was not recognizing the district at all. Little did he know, that not only had he gotten lost, he also had walked willingly into a den of eels.
