It was the eel from Octavinelle. There was little reason to question the absurdity which was his predicament at this point. Despite the fact that they’d hardly talked, seeing this familiare face brought on some sort of relief that had been nestled at this pit of his stomach, hardly needing a reason to surface until now. Malleus wasn’t shy by any means, but more-so distanced, and not through a fault of his own. He didn’t bother moving closer, he was sure that his voice would carry. “Leech.” There was a hint of amusement. “How curious it is to see you here.” His tone boasted a confidence that had no rhyme or reason, but Malleus wouldn’t tolerate anything else.

    “Oiii, nothin here either, Jade!” if floyd had a nickel for everytime he was dropped in another universe he’d at least have three nickels. which isn’t alot, but its weird its happened three times. but hey, at least jade was there with him on the floor when they woke up in a strange apartment that from upon further inspection was owned by them. 

   But like, older? weird.

   And with any new place - at least for floyd- he needed to snoop. why in the world would this alternate universe of him still be staying a human, huh? theres gotta be something going on here. he scored one bathroom while jade rummaged through another room, looking for human potions they often kept. Going through the medicine cabinent was rather uneventful however...
