So I was asked on a date yesterday by one of my best friends-

-and my mom and sister were acting like we’re friggin’ getting married or something, grinning like idiots and all that jazz.

It’s like “..no.”

One date, guys. I said we’d Give it a try. He’s my best friend and has liked me for a long time, so I figured I’d give him a chance. Plus, for the record, I’d liked him for about two years.

If things don’t work out, we made a pact to stay friends no matter what. I don’t intend on losing this one. I can’t. I’m more myself with him than I have been with anyone ever.

Edit: the one date is probably all that's gonna happen so yeah.
