We can chalk our discovery of this next one up to my expansive YouTube trawling too. Though it’s now available on Soundcloud, we first stumbled across Shockone’s remix of What So Not and LPX’s Better on trusted bass music YouTube channel UKF, which has been around since 2009. We already love the original dearly. In fact, we were elated late last year to see LPX, aka Lizzy Plapinger (one half of MS MR and Neon Golds Records co-founder), joining up with producer What So Not on the spiky bristling trap and bass anthem. Shockone, a producer based out of London, has given the song an exultant and intensive drum & bass remix, sure to leave your heart racing. And the track is a free download, too, here.
The party will go Til Dawn, we will run through the night and into the morning, keep going because it’s all we can do.
