Couldn't care less about Cal, because he has thoroughly been a twat throughout his time in Casualty (Stealing money from his brother, routinely shitting all over him and undermining him, strutting around the place like an arrogant berk to name but a few of his prize moments). The fact that he had an emotional boo boo because Ethan ended up with the girl Cal stole from him (funny how the fandom seems to forget that) in the first place absolutely does not negate his shitty behaviour and attitude. I just feel bad for Ethan for losing yet another member of his family.

I haven’t liveblogged casualty in an absolute age. But I’m watching it now and didn’t now where else to share how strange I find it that when new characters turn up or old characters return to the show, they arrive at the ED with a suitcase. Why would Zoe bring a suitcase? Is it like they get off the plane after an 8 hour flight and think “well, before I get home and rest, I’ll pop into my old work place with my limited luggage?” Or is it “I’ll just drop the majority of my luggage off at home, but bring in my hand luggage when I see everyone again”?

ATTENTION! CALLING ALL SHOELACES!

You make me sick

I thought that this weeks episode (11th June 16) was very good and I didn’t think it would even top last weeks! I loved the way they filmed it with Big Mac telling his story as the day went on. We got lots of Dylan this time, Ethan’s got funky new glasses and the two patients story lines were excellent as well, both very gripping. I liked how it all tied together too, like when Mac was talking about taking responsibility for your actions when the the boy was telling his friends parents what happened. And of corse Ethan doing pushups, Lily doing yoga and Jez being the fridge thief was the icing on the cake!
