What do Shounen Hollywood and Blue Period have in common?
Both anime have a main character voiced by Yamashita Daiki, and those characters are Saeki Kira and Takahashi Yotasuke, respectively.
As one can see, these two look similar. They're also particularly short people.
Although Kira can read the mood and socialize normally (which is expected of him as an idol), he can be quite blunt and snarky like Yotasuke when he's just with his workmates. Kira speaks with a high-pitched voice as an idol because he's the "cute little boy" character, but uses a deeper voice, exactly like Yotasuke's, in other, more private situations.
Besides that, both of them are considered geniuses in their respective fields (acting for Kira; art for Yotasuke) and were thrown into said fields by their mothers, whom they have issues with. They also both had difficult childhoods and based a lot of their self-worth on their "talents".
I wrote a YatoYota fanfic to explore these similarities, but I could only focus on the surface-level ones since it's a story of Yatora coming to concerts to see a "friendlier" Yotasuke, rather than getting to know Kira personally.
