I know the latter comment was directed directly at breakdawn but I just wanna reply to this because holy shit is it true. I found out Gongenzaka’s canon age a little late and was TOTALLY CONVINCED for the LONGEST TIME that he was at least 16. No wonder he was always going on about how MANLY he was, the kid’s testosterone levels were through fucking the roof.
As for the former, yeah, anime’s never really accurate with this sort of thing. I was having a particularly rough time trying to pin Shoichi’s age, and you know there was a bit of confusion trying to guess Go’s before he was confirmed to be 19.
But again, I pin that on them both having facial hair. You’ll notice that there wasn’t/hasn’t been any real debate on Ema and Akira’s ages, because neither of them have any real age markers; Shoichi and Go do.
