Explaining fanfiction to people
Me: Fanfiction is made when you take gay sprinkles and throw them on the show-writer's vanilla scripts. At first it's like 'fanfiction?' in confusion, cause why would some random person throw sprinkles on your ice cream without your knowledge? Then as you keep watching the show, the curtains of gay slowly start opening, and you get this deep, overwhelming sensation to let your favorite characters hash it out in bed, but you can't do that. And the writers won't allow it. So you decide to take your frustration out in writing. And at last, before you know it, the unicorns have won and your once straight mind has curved unto the gaysibilities of those characters and revel in the like mindedness of those who are, glad to mix their sprinkles with yours, and turn your once pure vanilla ice cream into an angry clusterfuck of red, green, purple, and blue while you happily skip along the pier next to the ocean.
Basically fanfic=hella gay, every way
