The First Disciple
The Monastery of Hirana: a place of learning nestled within the mountains that harbored a reputation for specializing in spiritual bonds. Though the climb was long, Kaiyan was undeterred by something like sheer height; the dragonfire within him made it the obstacles he encountered on the way almost trivial. No, the greatest challenge was controlling the fire; ensuring that he didn’t let it consume him and rampage as it had in the past...
Finally, after about half a day had passed, Kaiyan reached the foot of the monastery and looked up. He couldn’t help but grin, yet there was something else... He sensed a power eerily similar to his own nearby. Curious, Kaiyan took a few steps forward and looked around, hoping to find the source of this odd sensation.
