Q: What is the charm of «Bono Bono»?
SHOKICHI: As I grew older, I realized again what an important message lies in the carefree atmosphere, and I realized how profound this piece is. I was attracted by the fact that the experiences I gained from friendships and living together resonated with my life, and I realized the importance of caring for others.
Q: What message did you put into the title of the song «THE WALK»?
SHOKICHI: We put into the song the idea born from the combination of «Bono Bono» and the story of LIL LEAGUE: taking the theme of «Walking through the story of life», we took out the word «Walk» from it, and focused on learning the joys and sorrows that happen in life, and at the same time learning happiness. «Walking to a happy ending».
Q: What impression did LIL LEAGUE's song make on you?
SHOKICHI: I wanted to make a song that would fit perfectly into «» and would be enjoyable to listen to every day. LIL LEAGUE expressed my idea wonderfully. And even more, they suggested options that I didn't even know about. I think I managed to combine many good ideas in the song.
Q: What is your favorite anime? The one that has conquered you now or your favorite from childhood.
SHOKICHI: There are so many! (laughs) I never missed «DRAGON BALL» when I was a kid, and I also love «Rurouni Kenshin» and «SLAM DUNK». I still watch a lot of anime now, I love «Jujutsu Kaisen» and «Sousou no Frieren»... I love a lot of works, I can't narrow it down. (laughs)
