dark blue hair falls over a porcelain face as the detective regards his classmate. he cannot help but to marvel at the scope of the flashback lights. these idiots truly believe in their own capabilities. they have truly conformed to their identities. 

his target looks over and the two of them briefly make eye contact. saihara’s eyes jerk away; ah, this would be a romance brewing if he weren’t the one responsible for the most glorious plot twist in the franchise. “a-ah... matsuoka-kun... i-i’m sorry for staring.”

“...So, are you actually gonna do something with me?”

He’d been with his mysterious new summoner for quite sometime and from what he could tell, nothing had really happened.  Was his summoner biding his time? Hoping he might be able to curse someone or perform some weird demon ritual? Humans had some awfully strange ideas about demons.  Either way, anything would be better than just sitting around.
