Otto: Why Lexa! Aren’t you just a little ray of sunshine?! I must say, I gotta congratulate the stylist on your outfit because you look like a Sagittarius. Do you know anything about the sign you were given?

Lexa: Well, I only know a little bit about astrology - I dabbled when I was in high school - but I think Sagittarius has to do with adventuring, yeah?

Otto: That’s just one of the traits, but you’ve pretty much got the gist! A Sagittarius is known for their global perspective, idealism, and philosophical mindset.  

In the off-camera interview...

Lexa: This first photoshoot has shown me how amazing of an opportunity this really is. I’m surrounded by a ton a gorgeous, talented people who are trying to show the qualities of fashion in picture-form. The fact that famous models can tell a story in a photo that doesn’t move is incredibly humbling - and we are getting the opportunity to learn!

Otto: Hellloooooooo, Michelle! Are you ready to get your photoshoot on? 

Michelle: H*ll yeah! Modeling is my dream; it’s literally what I was born to do!

Otto: Wowzers, you’re a confident one, aren’t you? By now your stylist should’ve have told you that your sign is Libra. Well I can tell your probably a fire sign, Libra is an air sign. It’s all about cooperation, diplomacy, and being social. Do you think you can pull that off?

Michelle: Yes. Do you know who you’re talking too?

Michelle: I’m not that nervous about the photoshoot. I’m confident in my abilities and its the other girls that should be scared of me! There isn’t one look that I can’t pull off and the outfit they give me for this shoot was already so fashionable that it was sooo easy to model.

In the off-camera interview...

April: The outfit I was given was the exact opposite of something that I’d wear. Never in a million years would I put on a bright pink blazer with bright yellow pants. That’s how Geminis are, though. So even if I have to pretend to be one today, I hope I never meet one in person. That would be awful.

On set...

Otto: April! We wanted to play against your strengths, because we saw that relentless sarcasm in your audition tape and were eager to see if you had what it takes to make it as a model. You’ve got the looks and an attitude to boot, but can you coNTRol that sass of yours and get it into a photoshoot?

April: Maybe.... Just don’t get on my bad side, alright Tamayo? *winks*

In the off-camera interview...

Sandra: I have no clue where it came from, but I was feeling this photoshoot. The Leo sign is all about passion and self-expression. I don’t think I could’ve been given a better sign to portray! There was so much creativity involved; it let me bring out my fashionista side that I usually don’t like to show.

On set...

Otto: Sandra! YAAS! You are giving me ALL the poses!! Your film has been absolutely gorgeous so far, keep it up!

Otto: Ms. Summer, last but certainly not least! You may be the final girl on the docket, but you have one of the more challenging signs. Virgo’s are analytical, clean, and kind. I’m eager to see how you interpret that into a modeling pose. 

Summer: This is actually perfect! I’m pretty sure I’m actually a Virgo... *giggles* I have a tendency to be overly-organized.

Otto: Well, what a lucky draw! I suppose Sarai wanted to see if you could enhance and show your characteristics through a camera.

In the off-camera interview...

Summer: Of all the zodiac signs for me to be given, Virgo was the best. I feel like that sign plays perfectly into me. I’ve never done any professional modeling before, but this first photoshoot didn’t feel like the first. Today seemed to be one photoshoot in a long ling of photoshoots that I’ve already done! If this is an indication as to how the rest of the competition is going to go, I’m more than eager to get started!

Otto: Ms. Moffet! I’m amAZed by how much of a natural you are! You’re embodying all of the friendliness, originality, and independence of an Aquarius! You said in your introduction interview that you’d never modeled before, right?

Emely: Haha, yep!... I’ve just watched a lot of TV, to be honest. (Lots of Sims Next Top Model. I might’ve seen every season.) *blushes*

Otto: Whatever floats your boat, you beauty!! You’re already a few steps ahead of the others girls then.. That’s one of our recommendations before you come into the competition - study up on modeling and you’ll have a few more tools under your fashIOOON belt!

Emely: I knew spending those hours in front of the TV would come in handy someday! Psst.. mom... you hear that! Now you have to let me watch all those cooking shows when they’re on - I’ll out-bake you in no time, haha.
