If I recall correctly, I was in a group chat? And we were all asked what our smut sideblogs would be based on our urls and well, idolboob was suggested, I think by @simulacrumist (It was SO LONG AGO), and I decided to keep it LMAO.

I feel u. And like. The post where I saw someone refer to her as white was otherwise such a Good. It was all about how the three characters A/loy actually shows some romantic interest in are V/arl (a black man too good for this world), P/etra (an older woman who is likely gay and couldn’t give less of a fuck about palatable gender presentation), and V/anasha (a bisexual black woman who’s confident and comfortable and yet totally mysterious). 

Like if they hadn’t referred to P/etra as white, I’d be all over it.

tbf youre level 147 which makes 588 attempts to get roughly 1680 pieces of kit, considering the drop rates are lower for legendaries its inevitable that you’re gonna get dupes, especially the more lootboxes you get bc of the higher drop rates of common loot. eventually, the game will run out of common stuff to give you that you’ve never had before so i wouldn’t call it bad luck. just

"heads up!" overwatch family picnic? sort of. more like a frisbee -- a prototype weapon that went wrong -- hurtling across the courtyard outside overwatch​ HQ. jill has a good right arm, but is observant enough to spot where her it's going. "hey, duck!"

realistically, he should have seen it coming from a mile away. a man as sharp and perceptive and well-taught as jesse mccree should have been able to pick up the warning, drawn iron or moved out of the way at least. this isn’t the case, at least for today. the shout comes half of a second too late for him, being busy with the repetitive tasks that keep such a livewire mind at bay. you break the gun down, you clean it, you put it together, you adjust the sights, you do the same for the second. his hands know the task too well, they perform the ritual of their own agency, a brainless, thoughtless movement. and with such a cloudless day, it’s a damn shame to waste good sunshine in this climate.

Why do people who ship women together need to jump through so many hoops in order to be “legitimate”? We need essays with academic sources almost to enjoy the consumption of our media and the (lacking) representation of ourselves.

I’m tired of it. 

I’m tired of the disregard for the identities of women who love women in canon - in this case, Tracer is canonly a lesbian - and yet, some of y’all are like, ‘MY WAIFU!!! NOOOO!!’ or “nah she’s bi” -- which also speaks to an intra-community issues too, but it also speaks to the higher disrespect for lesbians. 

“But she’s just a character lol’ - yeah, she’s fictional but a lot of people identify with her and it’s incredibly disheartening to see people ignore it, as if women cannot be exclusively romantically/sexually interested in women, L O L. 

And before y’all jump on me for “you’ll make straight characters bi though”,  it’s like.... there are straight characters everywhere. By doing this, you’re adding representation where they may be none. But by disregarding established LGBT+ characters, you’re taking away what little representation there is. 

So when you’re all like “it’s just fictional”, “she can be bi!!!”, you’re outright disrespecting lesbian identity. When you force us to explain our ships without doing the same to m/m or m/f ships, you’re only enforcing the notion that women cannot exclusively be attracted to women.
