On the way to the study tower, Minuette and Keira were talking about the events from last night.

Minuette: Sorry about making you pay for both Spike and Twilight. I had no idea that things were going to work out like they did.

Keira: Oh, don’t worry about it. At least things were taken care of.

Minuette: I just hope Twilight and Spike didn’t go home. I know it must’ve been pretty hard on Twilight.

Keira: If there’s one thing I know about Twilight, she’s not one to give up easily.

Minuette: You know what, you’re right! I’m sure she’s right back at the study tower coming up with the her next move!

Keira: I sure hope you’re right...

After Twilight had left, Keira, Spike, and Minuette left to walk around the town for a moment. Spike was not particularly happy about being left behind.

Minuette: Do you really think Twilight can talk to Moon Dancer about things?

Keira: I think so. She might be a little in over her head about this, but I think she’ll come up with something. If we know Twilight well enough, she won’t stop until she succeeds, no matter what the task is.

Minuette: I can’t argue that. She always was persistent with her goals. So Keira! Do you know what kind of wedding theme you’re going with.

Keira: I’m not sure yet. But now that you say that, I think I got an idea of what we can do while we wait for Twilight! We need to find Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine first.

Minuette: Ooh! Is this going where I think it’s going?

Keira: Oh, yes! We’re going to do some dress shopping!

Minuette: Ooh! I can’t wait! I’m sure the others will be excited to come as well! But do you have a dress yet yourself?

Keira: I have a friend in Ponyville making my wedding dress, but that doesn’t mean I can’t get ideas for what I want!

Minuette: Awesome! I know where Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine are at, so I’ll go and get them!

Keira: Excellent! Get them and meet Spike and I at the local dress shop.

Banana: Sounds good to me! Now what would you like, Jazz?

Jazz: I want the plush of you!

Banana: Coming up!

Using his magic, Banana Pie picked up two banana cream pies and a plush of himself and handed it off to True Blue, who took the items with his magic.

True: Thanks mate! Really appreciate it!

Dusty: Aye! Don’t forget to pay the pony.

True: Ah, right.

True Blue gave Banana Pie seven bits for all the items he had bought.

Jazz: Dad, can I carry my plush?

True: Sure thing, Jazz.

True Blue placed the Banana Pie doll on Jazz Note’s back and continued to carry the pies with his magic.

Banana: Thank you again! Have a good day! Enjoy the wedding today!

Dusty: Thank ya, mate! We will!

Jazz: Thank you, Banana Pie! Hope to see you again soon!

And with that, True Blue, Dusty Note, and Jazz Note trotted off to find a place to eat their pie.

With just a click of his claws, Discord teleported both him and Keira to Canterlot.

Discord: See? Far better than waiting for some silly old train!

Keira: I wouldn’t have minded the train ride, but we do need to get stuff done as soon as possible, so this works out just as well.

Discord: Now then, shall we start for the castle?

Keira: Lead the way, honey.

Discord: As you wish, dear.

Keira and Discord started off hoof in paw to visit Princess Celestia.

While all the normal hustle and bustle went on in the city, Keira and Discord chatted about what they were intending to discuss.

Discord: So why exactly do we need to talk to Tia again?

Keira: About wedding things! A lot of it involves paperwork and certification signing, but I’m sure we can get other things figured out as well!

Discord: Paperwork? Couldn’t we just leave that to Twilight? That sounds really boring...

Keira: Twilight isn’t the one getting married to you, now is she?

Discord: Well, I suppose you have a point. Still, it’s probably going to be boring.

Keira: I don’t like paperwork either, but it still needs done.

Twilight: It’s all right, every pony! We’ve gotten things taken care of.

Twilight: Let’s just all get back to enjoying this magical evening.

Without delay, the Gala continued on as if nothing had happened at all. Discord was now bitter with the Smooze after the most recent happening.

Discord: You are making me look like a fool in front of Fluttershy!

Discord: And on top of that, you almost made my fiancee embarrass me in front of every pony! Just wait here until the Gala is over. I’ll be back for you then.

The door was partially shut when the Smooze looked out and whimpered at Discord like a sad dog. Discord looked back for a moment to consider letting him back out, but decided against it and kicked the door shut with his hoof.

The Smooze was upset, but only for a moment. When he looked behind him, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

His luck had finally turned up. Happily, he licked his lips.

Discord hadn’t known it, but he locked the Smooze up in one of the castle’s treasuries.

Pearl: Oh, so in the end your friend did help you get wedding invitations made up!

Keira: Yes! And she’ll let me know when the final is done so I can look at it.

Pearl: I’m so glad you and Twilight were able to get that sorted out.

Keira: Me too. Mum, I don’t mean to be a nag, but how much closer is this shop?

Pearl: Well it’s right here, Keira! That building behind us is where we’re going.

Keira: Oh! I’ve always wondered what was in that shop since I was little.

Pearl: Well, it’s been many things over the years. When I was a filly, it used to be a jewelry shop, then when I was about your age it was a toy shop for the holidays! It only recently became a dress shop.

Keira: That’s amazing! I can’t wait to see what all they have in this shop!

Pearl: I may have done some looking around before asking you to come with me. The dresses are rather nice for it being a new shop. Now, let’s head in, shall we?

Keira: Yes!

Needless to say, the ponies that were chatting in the main lobby weren’t exactly the most thrilled to see the Smooze. As a matter of fact, they were more afraid than anything.

A lot of the ponies that were there already gasped as they tried to play things off as if nothing had happened. Although they were scared, they also made an attempt to not make a guest feel unwelcome.

Some of the ponies, on the other hand, were so shocked by the appearance of Discord, the Smooze, or a combination of the two...

...that they would faint. Truth be told, it was only one pony that actually fainted in the lobby, but who’s to say it wouldn’t happen again.

Discord: Ah! Good evening every pony! A pleasure to see you! Smooze is happy to see you too! Oh, but be careful. He does have a yen for shiny things, the rascal.

As the Smooze passed the one of the announcer ponies, he extended a gooey limb over to their trumpet.

The announcer only stood there in a panic as he watched as the Smooze slither away with his trumpet.
