Shop to Give is a partnership between Unilever Philippines and Lazada for the benefit of the children of UNICEF. Unilever will be taking over Lazada’s platform for a 24-hour shopping event that enables consumers to participate in charitable shopping. Unilever’s Shop to Give brings a unique take on Lazada’s Super Brand Day by integrating social consciousness into the platform and involving consumers in supporting UNICEF.
Shop to Give is Unilever’s innovative take on Lazada’s Super Brand Day. Dedicated to children, the 24-hour shopping event offers online shoppers the opportunity to help support the kids of UNICEF.
When the clock strikes midnight of October 17, a 24-hour shopping event will allow consumers to support disadvantaged children through UNICEF, as Unilever Philippines and Lazada launches ‘Shop2Give’.
For a full day, Unilever will take over eCommerce platform Lazada, quirkily transforming the online shopping giant’s interface. Unilever will revamp images of their products with children’s hand-drawn images, bringing focus to the beneficiaries of the activity. With Shop2Give, the kids are the ultimate beneficiaries.
Shoppers can enjoy up to 80% off on Unilever products when they visit lzd.co/shop2giveph. They can even purchase “buy one, give one deals”, a meaningful initiative that treats shoppers to massive discounts, but also donates to beneficiaries of UNICEF.
When purchasing Unilever products on Lazada, online shoppers can use the promo code SHOP2GIVE, or collect vouchers to receive even more discounts on their carts when they check out. A donation will be made to UNICEF that benefits children for every purchase made.

They were able to transform their brand pages kicks off the Shop to Give campaign. It is a prelude to what will take place on the Super Brand Day, details of which will be revealed on 17 Oct.
Why were their previous brand photos replaced by children’s illustrations?
The drawings are children’s interpretations of the Unilever brands’ key visuals. Showcasing their artwork gives them a voice and an active role in the campaign, differentiating it from what may be similar initiatives.
