Best online webshops: Sales time!
As the winter sales have officially started here in Belgium, I have decided to share some of the websites where I often buy stuff and clothes.
The easiest webshop I use is definitely Shop it to me as you can make a list of the brands you like and you'll get daily or weekly updates when the brands you like are on sale. You can also add a price range to your profile so for instance when your limit for dresses is 200€ (264$), they'll only send you adds for dresses under 200€. Very handy. The only problem for Europeans is that Shop it to me works with various American stores and that you can be charged an import fee. I ordered Victoria's Secret bikini's in the summer and had to pay 60€ (79$ today) to the postman at the door. I did not like that at all!
Another very good online webshop is the MANGO webshop. Okay, they have the shops here in town as well but they don't charge any postal fees and they're not fussy about returns which I really like because I like to buy two of a kind but in different sizes so I can check which one works best for me.
A website with constant sales offers is Vente Exclusive and they send you daily newsletters with the newest sales. With this website you have to be quick because they don't have many of the products on sale so it's possible that the thing you want and have put in your shopping cart will have been sold to somebody else by the time you press 'Buy'. Another thing is: they hold a sale and then when the sale is over, they will send the product to you, but when you've bought something that you don't like or which doesn't fit, you can't replace it. You can return it and get your money back, but you can't change it for a different size because the sale is finished already.
All in all this sounds quite bad, but they have really nice stuff for really little money, like uggs for 95€ (125$): Even on Black Friday you can't get offers this good! A similar website is Snapstore but I personally haven't ordered from them yet so I can't tell if they're good or not.
Another one of my favourites is Asos because they have beautiful cheap Asos dresses, but also beautiful brands. The good thing is that you can compare the dresses and prices. And this webpage has a very and precise search engine which is always handy when you're looking for something in particular.
Quite a new one here in Belgium is Zalando, which has a very very big offer and they only make you pay after you have seen and agreed to the product so in the case that you're not entirely happy with your purchase you can send it back and you don't have to get your money back, because you had not yet payed it. Oh, and they don't charge for postal services either!
Last but not least a webpage for the vintage bag lovers: Designer Vintage. Even though they have loads of vintage designer bags, the website is still pretty low key and is still 'owned' or managed by one person which gives you great response when you ever have a problem. I once bought a bag on this website of which I was not completely satisfied and the manager immediately contacted the seller.
I hope some of you will have gotten to know new webpages for online shopping and I hope you like them as much as I do.
