This contraption pulled up next to me at a traffic light last weekend. It's a cool little workshop made BBQ grill made from a propane tank and scrap parts. It's strapped on the back of a Miata, of all things. I love this sort of home made stuff.

I haven't welded anything since high school, but we picked up a little wire welder at Harbor Freight a while back when they were on sale for a ridiculous price. Looking forward to playing with it in the workshop this winter.

There is sometimes when you attempt something for the first time that you think it looks and will function correctly. This is one of those times for me. My roof on the BBQ shed I did is not functioning and it continues to leak when it rains no matter what I do. So I'm redoing the rafters at a 45 degree angle this time and hoping that will make the rain run off instead of pooling and leaking inside. 5 2x6" cedar boards cut to angle and length. Drill kreg and then attach.
