Aimée from Paplo is here to talk about her partner, Fredrico, and her's experience with the beautiful and classic leather-goods shop Paplo.
1. How did you get started?
In Florence Italy, I started to work with Frederico at his leathergoods shop and in some time we decided to start our own brand & designs and then move to Canada.
2. What does your store name mean?
Palpo itself is the Italian word for “ to feel with touch.” And while the PALPO company honors the word by creating and designing leather goods that are recognized for their physically seductive appeal and appropriately for its luxuriously pleasurable touch, the PALPO brand honors the Italian tradition of superior craftsmanship and extraordinarily high quality accessories.
3. Who are your favourite designers?
Personally, for woman, I'm a big fan of vintage influenced designs - feminine, playful and a sense of "playing dress-up". I admire designers that showcase a sense of freedom - Galliano's designs have always been seductive to me.
4. What’s your favourite song right now?
Music is such a necessity and I can't do favorites - all types of music can feed me.
5. Where do you find inspiration?
All around.
