Okay. I know at this point in my transition I don't pass as a man. But I at least look like a very gender non-conforming woman, a butch perhaps. It it not helpful at all and even hurtful when someone "suggests" the women's selection of glasses or clothes. Especially when they go "are you sure?" Yes, I'm sure. I know full well where the women's section of the store is, I clearly made a conscious decision to shop at the men's section.
And like, just a tip..... don't "suggest" gendered products or sections to any customer, regardless of whether they look GNC or not. Because at best it's annoying and at worst it's extremely dysphoria-triggering.
The urge some people have to constantly enforce the gender binary and gender roles onto strangers oh my god.....
