I had a makeshift workbench in my shop that I had salvaged from an old built in floor cabinet and an old door for a top. I never really liked it or used it and the table top, which was way too wide, just ended up completely cluttered with sh-tuff! @rosegoldmodern was getting rid of the bottom of an old hutch he had and I thought it would be perfect for a replacement until I can build something (which may or may not happen any time soon). This storage cabinet has two extra drawers and an extra bottom cabinet which will be much needed for additional shop storage. What I lost in table top space I gained in floor space which was a concession I was definitely willing to make. Had to do a little furniture repair by reattaching one side after grinding off some nails. Put a new plywood bottom on, reused the old casters from the other workbench, and we’re back in business. Gratuitous happy dance in the end showing my pleasure at a job mediocre-ly done! . . . . . #workbench #furniturerepair #shopstorage #storagecabinet (at Long Beach, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBlQhKmDdG4/?igshid=6paqkt8cc1yu
