“this is so stupid,” greer muttered as she sat on one of the counters in the back room, slipping on a pair of roller skates that her manager had issued her. she should’ve known better than to answer when they asked who knew how to skate, leaving only her and another girl to be pushed to the back to switch their shoes. they were probably just trying to hit home with the whole vintage diner theme, but after beign asked to work a long shift, greer was in no mood for the change. sighing, she slowly hopped down to the ground, trying out the wheels before deciding she was fine and grabbing the next tray of food to be delivered. the blonde skillfully made it through the various tables, and had almost made it to her designated section before she hit a bump between the tiles that tripped her, causing her tray to drop and her to grab the shoulder of a customer at the table next to her out of instinct. “oh my god, i am so sorry! i’m such a clutz anyways and they have me trying out this whole skating thing, which obviously wasn’t a bright idea on their part seeing as the floor needs to be fixed anyways-- and now i’m rambling, i’m so sorry. is there anything i or the manager can do for you? and of course your meal is on me, again i’m terribly sorry.”
