Halloween 2020 event will start on Monday ( Oct. 26th ) and will end on Sunday ( Nov. 1st ).

This is a really short event. The first short Halloween event thus far.

Short Event Start

This is base off of the Jumanji board game

Send in a ask that has a ask bloggers name in it

Then I shall give them an ask an see if they start the game and what dangers awaits

Incognito

The players are given very little information and sent somewhere where an enemy intercepts the welcoming party and pretends to be them. A few very carefully disguised simple enemies are implanted in the original welcoming party’s place in an attempt to get information that you don’t have from you.

Something Smells Good!

This tiny encounter can happen during watch at night or while on the road, but it should happen at night. 

It starts when someone with a passive perception of 10 or higher catches a whiff of freshly cooked meat. Upon further investigation, they go off the road a ways and discover a pair of massive hungry trolls. Grotesquely roasting over the fire are the bodies of several men.

Overturned Cart on the Road

Your group of adventurers come upon an overturned cart in broken and splintered. It appears to be a pretty bad crash site with a dead body nearby that had been dragged under the cart and thrown several feet. 

If the cart is looted, the following items can be gleaned: -3 sets of clean clothing (worth 50 gp) -2 golden rings (worth 100gp) -1 weeks rations -a sapphire necklace that is about a foot from the body and is in perfect condition. This necklace is cursed, the wearer receives extreme luck and unluck. At any time the DM decides, they can roll a d20, if 10 or above, the wearer will have a sudden stroke of good fortune. Under 10 and the wearer suddenly has immensely bad luck, very very bad luck.

Eloquill, the drunk

Your adventurers encounter a man lying by the river, slumped over, tripping out of his boat, lying in his own vomit and clearly over-intoxicated. His name is Eloquill, and besides him, still in the boat, is a large fish net filled with fish and 2 empty bottles of wine. He asks that you help him and his catch get home. If they do this, he will attempt to pay them each with a fish. Each fish contains a small number of very precious gems. He had forgotten that he was a gem smuggler, not a fisherman. 

Optional (for more comical sessions): One character at random finds a tiny bag in their fish that is filled with a strange pungent herb. If smoked, the herb gets you FUCKED UP for 1d4 hours. If ingested, the effect will be much stronger, suddenly take affect in 1d4 hours, and last for 2d4+2 hours. (Note: I understand that that’s not how edibles work :p but come on, comic effect!)
