Are you a Dungeon Master? Do you run a fantasy ttpprpg in D&D 5e or Pathfinder 1e/2e? Or maybe the new Daggerheart or the MCDM rpg?
Either way - I made this fantasy archive blog for Dungeon Master inspiration where I reblog all of the cool stuff that I happen to stumble upon here on tumblr. Maybe you will find it useful! It is easier to know if you check it out ;)

Which song speaks to the heart of what drives your paladin?
1. To Dream The Impossible Dream. From Man of La Mancha.
2. C'est Moi. Camelot.
3. Stars. Les Miserable.
Because I am a huge DnD and musicals nerd and for too long have questions like these boiled in my mind.
And because it is me...I will make an item for the winner. Or the top two if it gets 100 interactions. Or all three if it gets 500. And a subclass for the winner if it gets over 1000.
You are not a bad DM for taking time to write / craft your game to your standard. You are not a bad DM for taking your time with your work. You are not a bad DM if you take long breaks from your game. You are not a bad DM even if you go weeks without progress, or go back on progress.
You do all your DnD work for free, in your free time, for your own fun and your own enjoyment. You're doing ok. Your people appreciate you.
fun question, what are your fav elementals? and how do you use them?
Hmmm, to be honest I don't use elementals much in my campaigns except when the players want to engage/use them.
But when I started my latest campaign based on fairytales in a world with no more happy endings, we used one as our druid's companion instead of an animal. In 3.5 that's an option for druids.
The druid is a mermaid whose entire race was cursed into vampiric sirens/melusines by their creator fey-god. But she is technically royalty of her people, so she and her sisters each became landlocked and must search for their missing sibling to break the curse. As a mermaid druid, she kept a part of the ocean with her always in the form of Maels, a water elemental.
Maels was a powerhouse in fights, smashing up goblins, gingerbread houses, magma skeletons, etc. They were especially helpful in facing a group of fire elementals summoned in a jailhouse by an incarcerated pyromancer-sorcerer. But sadly they were disintegrated when the group fought a corrupted treant--what remained of their essence was then sucked into the amulet of health the elemental wore.
I like elementals as either stewards and bodyguards of powerful spellcasters, or as living surges in elemental chaos--such as an escaping pyromancer, a lake's energy lashing out at humans for polluting the water, or even as beings bound to protect a druidic altar.
But the elementals I love the most are the elemental weirds. They're more intelligent and sentient than other elementals, and each type foresees the future in unique ways. I've never been able to bring a group high enough to face one at a respectable challenge rating yet, but its getting there. I'd love to have a weird challenge a group, who are seeking information and prophecy; if they survive the weird will reveal a looming threat's location or how dangerous their plans are. They seem like great quest fodder.
Thanks for the ask! Always happy to share my thoughts!
The Feywilds is a plane of visceral emotion and sublime beauty--the material plane viewed through a broken kaleidoscope; a nonsensical, space-defying world painted from unknown colours and spawned from a child's imagination.
The mind of a child is of infinite creativity unburdened by morality; well suited to producing innocent-faced monsters. Wolf in sheep's clothing.
The Feywilds is a realm born from the daydreams of a nonexistent child. A realm governed by ever changing rules, where memories aren't yours and logic is illogical.
