I made a Redfire fankid :333

Short Thrust!!! (She/her)

Jetfire and Red Alert decided to have a sparkling after the war ends, but they haven't fully healed from it. So when Short Thrust is born her parents are still dealing with PTSD from the war and her cries kinda trigger that. She's also told that she isn't their real kid, mostly by Jetfire, who still thinks that she's a seeker due to her sparkling alt mode being a fighter jet. But later in her teenagehood she's finally accepted and loved by both of her parents, who learned how to enjoy life after the war through her.

And @mistermalaprop, I think that she and Skywire would meet in the continuity she's in (probably G1). She'd be the younger sibling, but she still likes her bigger brother :3

@mistermalaprop, @smoked-salmon-official, @smokey-prime9000 I have an idea for a big redfire children adventure!!!

I have this one au where there is a tf continuity, that figured out cross-continuity traveling and they use this to fight against the Decepticons (they already got Armada Screamer).

So one day, all the Redfire children are suddenly kidnapped taken to a strange base, where they get the explanation to everything and they they're supposed to save their parents in this continuity.

Skywire would be absolutely fascinated by this idea, because this would be a way to finally find a perfect continuity for himself. But whenever he sees one where Jet and Red are happy, he gets scared that he'd destroy that happiness.

Solenoid would be surprised to find out that Red is xer other father and would absolutely yell at home, despite him not being from xer continuity. Red would apologize to xer and tell them that he won't leave xer ever.

The twins would reunite and just have some stuff to talk through.

Short Thrust would be scared to mess up, because of her being the trigger and always getting yelled at by Skywire whenever he meets her. Most of the children would try to reassure her. Except Skywire, who just... doesn't like her, because she takes Red and Jet away from him. But eventually, he gets kinda protective over her.

There could also be the aristocats scene I talked about in a previous post. Basically, the children found Red first and when they helped him find Jet, he just introduced the children like that :3

Short Thrust is a little clumsy, because her fingers are just. ✨BEANS✨

Unfortunately, glass breaking a major trigger for Red.

And Skywire ( @mistermalaprop) always yell at them for breaking something.

Like for example the combaticons combine into Bruticus

I love how every redfire child is from a different continuity.

@mistermalaprop's Skywire is from the unicorn trilogy (and jumps between continuities)

@smoked-salmon-official's is from the IDW

And my Short Thrust is from G1 leaning a bit into the earthspark-ish war end

Skywire ending concept where, because of the hundreds and hundreds of rewinds he kills Short Thrust and/or destroys that continuity, the entire continuity breaks and Skywire is forced to confront Short Thrust, Red Alert, and Jetfire all at once in some void. Twist is? Those three can remember every. single. rewind.

Angst and sadness and misery ensues, mayhaps ending in a big family hug where many ugly tears are shed and apologies are made.

Perhaps this ends the rewinds, Skywire finally fades out of reality (being consumed by Unicron or joining the Allspark), and the universe restarts where it was supposed to be all along with Short Thrust and her parents.

Just a design idea: Each rewind has star symbols somewhere, that represent how much spark he has left. I imagine it being like those timers that you use for cooking and shit. Just clock.

And another idea: there is always a shot on the family picture (if we think of the story as a kind of movie). And every single time it's a bit different, but still the same. It always contains Jet, Red, Skywire and Short Thrust.

In the end, when Skywire disappears and the universe restarts, we get the family picture shot. But this time, there's no Skywire. But a doll/plushie that Short Thrust holds, representing him.*
