Back home Mom would go out and clip a bunch of fresh herbs and make a big pot of tea with catnip, mint, thyme, and red raspberry leaves and it always worked and now i'm in boston, alone, with no mom and no magic and all sad death all the time.

I'm glad you asked!!
It was actually pretty easy, just time consuming. First I stripped the body with some chemical stripper to remove the old varnish and then I painted the whole thing white. The pattern on the front of the drawers is just a fabric I found at Macy's - it's actually an extra set of sheets that match the sheets on my bed. They were on sale for $12.50 so I just bought two sets. I didn't strip the drawers, I just cut the fabric to size and mod podged it onto them and let them dry. The pulls I got on amazon for $10.00 for a set of 10 (I would totally recommend this to anyone trying to change up their dresser or cabinets - they're super easy to install and look really pretty!). So overall the entire dresser (considering it was a hand-me-down from my mom's best friend and therefore free) including supplies and paint and everything was less than $50. AND it was fun and matches my other furniture now!
