Reclaiming Fitspo: Ling Li

Li is a Chinese shot putter. Standing at 5'11" and 240 pounds, Li has participated in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. She threw 17.94 m in the Beijing competition, earning her 14th place. She greatly improved her technique by the London Games, throwing 19.63 m and placing 4th. 

While Li has yet to win an Olympic medal, she has won several Asian Championships, including the 2009 East Asian Games and the 2010 Asian Games. 

Her personal best throw is currently 19.38 meters, which she achieved at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka.

Today was sports day and I actually won something! I got 7.45 metres on shot put :)

Later tonight my class is having a goodbye meal in Pizza Hut so I won't be able to spend all day on here :(
