Like, holy fuck, at least at the start I could see some of the value in Ironwood’s plan, even though it was fucked up. However, the moment the Whale landed. the plan was out the window, and now Ironwood just wants the relic because... he wants the relic.
Seriously, is his plan to try and kill Salem with the staff? Because that will work just about as well as anything else, and you can’t move Atlas bc Salem’s body is on Atlas. Why the fuck is he still trying to get the staff at this point?
I wouldn’t be surprised if, even if Penny went to Ironwood (willingly or not), or RWBY and co. delivered Penny to him to try and save Mantle, he’d drop the big-ass bomb on it anyways because hey! CRWBY needs to make him 100% evil and irredeemable! Even though they’ve already accomplished that by having him shoot Oscar and let him plummet to his death, shoot an unarmed council member just to make a point, and shoot down the SDC aircrafts that are doing something he didn’t think of doing himself!

Question for the mods Do Like actually enjoy rwby or just enjoy shitting it on it.i dropped the series long ago and is just watching tldr videos now on the whole season.I just personally feel unsatisfied with the way the series has gone since volume 3.
cant speak for the others but i still enjoy the show greatly its not perfect and it has its ups and downs and shittin it is just kinda part of the fun i have with any series
