soooo i want to reach 15k words for my nano project today. can i do this? im home at 2 pm and i currently have 11.6k words
“I got a little brother, idiot’s name is John. He’s a fool and a pain in my ass but that’s little brothers for ya.”
Both Tommy and Joel chuckled at that, though Joel hid his quickly enough with a scowl.
“So I hear.” Tommy said.
“I did a job with him once, fool got himself a lead he said, bout some goods coming into town we could hustle.”
“Hustle?” Joel asked.
“You ain’t the only with questionable income.”
“Well damn, what happened?” Tommy said.
“The damn fool found the most guarded wagon in the history of hustles. Had to uh-“ He paused and looked at Sarah “-commandeer some stuff.”
“You mean you shot people.” Sarah piped up.
He’d already shot people in front of her, might as well admit to it. “Yeah, we did. Had to, didn’t want to. That’s how it goes sometimes.”
“Funny how that works out.” Joel said.
Ooooh that little bastard. As if he hadn’t already admitted to doing similar things. “I guess we both know that life pretty well don’t we?”
Joel’s eyes darkened but he kept himself calm and merely huffed. Whatever nerve he’d struck back in the cabin, he’d struck it again. Though it wasn’t wise to huff the Alpha up, it was entertaining. And he never was a smart man.
I don't have to reward myself for actually working today with rewatching yet another episode of the devil judge
