I guess tonight is about missing you
While I’m not even a thought in your selfish mind
Yet I can’t help remembering what was
What should have happened
How it could have been
Distance is the only thing which separates us To see you, I wish I could take a bus But it’s more than a mile So I guess it would take a while If I could walk to unite with you You know I would boo I’d bring along your favorite things And whatever life brings I’d write you some special poems And if you like, to your friends you could show them I don’t care because I want the world to know Distance is the only thing which separates us
