Kind of got annoyed with my mother today

We were discussing what had gone on during the night since it was on the early morning news. As I was finishing my explanation, the news cut to how Governor Perry (is that his name? Gosh, forgive me if I get it wrong) could call for a special vote or something like that. My mother commented it was his right, which I disagreed with. We got into a bit of a discussion, never a good idea at 5 AM.  I was tired and may have spat "No vagina, no opinion" which was a very bad translation of what I should've said: "Yes, he does have the right as governor to put in a special vote, however if you think about it, it's pretty ridiculous the people making law on this don't have the organ in question."

I regret not saying something more proper at 5 AM, that was wrong... but I stand behind it's ridiculous that the people legislating on the rights of someone with a vagina and all that entails usually don't have one.
